Panelist: Natica

NATICA (she/her, meaning “Little Nat” in Colombian Spanish) is a queer Colombian-American vocalist, songwriter, and audio engineer born and raised in Queens, NY. NATICA frequently sings with her solo project in venues throughout the city, as well as singing lead vocals and güiro for psychedelic cumbia band Milagro Verde and providing backup vocals for Dominican-American singer songwriter Lee Burgos. She released her debut EP, Awakening, in 2023 and is currently working on new music to be released later this year. She is also working on recording and releasing new music with Milagro Verde. Aside from her artistic music projects, her side hustle is cantoring (and playing) frequently at Catholic churches throughout NYC. You can follow her @naticamusic on Instagram, Facebook & YouTube.

Panelist: Katie Oberholtzer

Katie Oberholtzer is a jazz vocalist originally from southern Maine, currently residing in New York City. In 2023 Katie was privileged to be awarded second place in the International Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition. In 2021 Katie received two Downbeat Awards in the 44th Annual Student Music Awards: Best Jazz Vocal Soloist award, and Best Blues, Pop, Rock Group Award.

Panelist: Kaya Kulu

Born and bred in Brooklyn, Kaya Kulu is a dynamic interdisciplinary artist carving a unique space in the contemporary music scene. Seamlessly blending her talents and the rich textures of R&B, Hip-Hop, Neo soul & Jazz, she crafts sonic experiences that resonate with authenticity. Her artistry is further enriched by the vibrant threads of her Afro-Latina heritage.
